A new annual tradition, this beautiful concert explores music of the season, both new and old, presented in one of the oldest and most ethereal places in Asheville. The lovely and medieval design of Trinity Episcopal Church will be the setting for a candlelight procession, soaring melodies, and many holiday favorites. Brass consort and organ will accompany the chorus on Thomas Lloyd’s beautiful and meaningful As Well for the Poore as the Peere based on olde English carols, and the gorgeous and festive The Dream Isaiah Saw, by Glenn Rudolph. Excerpts from Handel’s Messiah and the jubilant Vaughan Williams Hodie will be some of the beloved features of the evening. You will want to make this concert a family tradition. Good yule! Fine friends! And a holiday treat that will warm your heart.
